GroupGenius is a lightweight, browser-based application designed to automate student group allocations.

 

It operates in two distinct modes:

• Random Allocation: Quickly sorts students into groups of a specific size without supervisor assignment.

• Supervisor Matching (Merit-Based): Assigns students to supervisors based on GPA (Highest GPA gets priority preference), checks supervisor capacity limits, and ensures group sizes meet minimum/maximum requirements.
